I'm going to teach you an awesome way to use Sequin fabric to create custom appliqués, rather than buying 50 floral appliqués. This will save you a ton of money and allows for more variety. TIPS -When shipping for your fabric, try to find a sequin fabric where the tulle backing is a similar color to your sweatshirt. If this is possible, It will save you a ton of time during the cutting process. -If you're like me, and end up with a contrasting tulle, you will need to take extra time to cut the edges very close. -You can CAREFULLY (and with adult supervision) use a lighter to curl back the remaining edges of tulle. -I am using Fabritac fabric glue to adhere there. -While Fabric glue is machine washable, I recommend hand washing or spot cleaning an item like this. -If you'd like to sew this project instead, I still recommend gluing the appliqués on first and THEN sewing around your edges.
